Often the most
difficult part of building a project is not making or
painting, but the essential research beforehand.
Specifically with this in mind, we have accumulated
a large archive of railway images covering the last century.
From obscure Scottish pre-grouping locomotives to the
vast array of first generation diesels still extant in the
early 1990s, we cover most aspects of locomotive development over the
last hundred years.
Many of these are highly attractive images in their own right, but for
modelling purposes we can offer selective enlargements
so that you can clarify a detail. Many of our earliest
photographs were taken on large format cameras, giving postcard sized
negatives and enlargable to poster size. Whether
scratch-building,
improving a kit, or modifying a ready-to-run model, attention to
accuracy and detail is essential.
Combine this with our extensive range of
authentic railway transfers and your model is destined to
become a winner.

We are always adding to
our stocks of original photographic negatives. As a result
there may be recent acquisitions which have not yet made it onto our
lists. Should you not see what you are looking for, or wish
